The subject invention provides for a novel bio-oligomer library. The glyco-peptides of the subject invention are glyco-peptides. The instant invention also provides methods to identify glyco-peptides from the library that demonstrate desired characteristics such as inhibiting cell adhesion. The invention also provides for effector molecules useful in inhibiting cell adhesion.
