A liquid jet head is provided with a first bubble generating device for enabling a first flow path conductively connected with a first discharge opening to create a bubble for the formation of discharge droplet, and a second bubble generating device for enabling a second flow path conductively connected with a second discharge opening to create a bubble for the formation of discharge droplet, and comprises a substrate having the first and second bubble generating devices on the surface area shared by them for use, an orifice section provided with the first and second discharge openings sequentially in the direction intersecting the sharable surface area of the substrate, and a flow path formation section for separating each path of the first and second flow paths at least from the discharge opening to the bubble generating device thereof, at the same time, arranging at least part of the first and second flow paths to be essentially in the form of laminated layer with respect to the substrate. With the structure thus arranged, crosswalks are prevented across each line of liquid flow paths, and also, to materialize a liquid jet head capable of making its discharge amount variable for the stabilized discharge of droplets in different amount from the plural lines of discharge openings for recording images in higher precision and quality.
Cette invention concerne un tête d'imprimante à jet d'encre comportant un premier dispositif générateur de bulle matérialisant un premier trajet d'écoulement menant à un premier orifice de décharge et servant à créer une bulle pour la formation d'une gouttelette et un second dispositif générateur de bulle matérialisant un second trajet d'écoulement menant à un second orifice de décharge et servant à créer une seconde bulle pour la formation d'une gouttelette. Elle comporte un support portant les premier et second dispositifs générateurs de bulles sur une surface commune, une partie dans laquelle sont ménagés l'un après l'autre dans la direction coupant la dite surface commune un premier et un second orifices de décharge et une section de formation de trajet d'écoulement séparant le flux en un premier et un second flux au moins entre l'orifice de décharge et le générateur de bulle correspondant pour obtenir qu'au moins une partie desdits premier et second flux soit laminaire par rapport au support. Avec cette configuration, les échanges de liquide entre trajets d'écoulement sont empêchés et la tête d'imprimante est en mesure de varier la quantité de liquide déchargé tout en stabilisant le rythme de décharge de gouttelettes de différentes tailles par les orifices de décharge multiples pour donner une image de qualité et de netteté supérieures.
