The present invention relates to a loader for nails strip, comprising an end (7) for introducing the nails strip, an outlet end (8) for the strip arranged so as to be mounted on the nose of a fixing device, means (10) for guiding nails from the in-troducing end (7) at the outlet end (8) and means for pushing the strip towards the outlet end (8), the guiding means comprising abutting means (10) for nails extending up to the outlet end (8). The loader is characterized in that the abutting means (10) have a rocking breach (11) for short nails (25) with a lower width than the abutting means (10).
