A locking device for locking into the bolt cavity of a firearm for making it non-functional, comprises a housing (1) which contains a lock cylinder (3) operable by means of a key which is introducible through a drilling protection (4) in the housing. The cylinder arm (8) of the lock cylinder (3) is non- rotatably connected to a follower (7), which has a flattening (9) which upon rotation of the follower pushes a wedge member (15) in the form of a steel ball between two blocking members (14), also in the form of steel balls, so that they are brought to extend partly from opposite sides of the housing (1). The locking device may be introduced into the magazine well of the firearm and located such that the extending blocking elements (14) will cooperate with e.g. the locking piece or receiver rails of the firearm in order to prevent the extraction of the locking device in its locked condition.
Un dispositif de verrouillage destiné à assurer un verrouillage dans la cavité de verrou d'une arme à feu afin de la rendre inopérante, comporte un logement (1) contenant un cylindre de verrouillage (3) mis en service par un clef pouvant être introduite dans un alésage protégé (4) à l'intérieur du logement. Le bras (8) du cylindre de verrouillage (3) est relié, sans possibilité de rotation, à un suiveur (7) pourvu d'un méplat (9) qui, lorsque le suiveur tourne, pousse un élément de clavette (15) sous forme d'une bille d'acier, entre deux éléments de blocage (14), également sous forme de billes d'acier, de manière à ce qu'elles occupent en partie un espace délimité par deux cotés opposés du logement (1). Le dispositif de verrouillage peut être inséré dans le logement de chargeur de l'arme à feu et être disposé de manière à ce que les éléments de blocage en place (14) coopèrent avec, par exemple, la pièce de verrouillage ou les rails de la boite de culasse de l'arme et ce, afin d'interdire toute extraction du dispositif de verrouillage lorsque il est en position verrouillée.
