2102409 9219884 PCTABS00017 Backlash preventing magnetic apparatus for a transmission for a vehicle having an outer race (2) fixed to a body (1), an inner race (5) fixed to a driving shaft (3). A plurality of projections (4) are formed on a circumferential surface of said inner race (5) or outer race (2). A plurality of rotating bodies (7) are disposed between said outer race (2) and said inner race (5) so that said rotating bodies (7) can be combined with said projections (4). A permanent magnet (6) is mounted on said each rotating bodies (7). An annular plate (8) supporting said rotating body (7) and a backlash preventing roller (9) are disposed respectively between said rotating bodies (7), wherein said backlash preventing roller (9) enables said inner race (5) to rotate in a first direction and prevents rotation in a reverse direction.
