A materials transport container having floor (20) and two opposed side walls (22, 36) and a front wall, the wall extending upwardly from the floor (20), the container further having an unloading end, the container being supported to enable tilting for unloading of material from the unloading end, the container having a substantially continuous and smooth hard faced surface (34) on an unloading portion of the floor adjacent the unloading end, so as to enhance the sliding of material over the smooth hard faced surface (34), the hard faced surface (34) is provided by a layer of hard surfacing alloy, there being provided one or more arcuate surfaces bridging a junction between one or more of the front and side walls (22, 36) and the floor (20) of the container to reduce hang up of material thereon.
L'invention concerne un conteneur de transport de matières comprenant un plancher (20), deux parois latérales opposées (22, 36) et une paroi avant, ces parois se prolongeant verticalement à partir dudit plancher (20). Ce conteneur comprend également une extrémité de déchargement. Il est supporté de façon à pouvoir s'incliner en vue d'un déchargement de matières à partir de l'extrémité de déchargement. Ledit conteneur comporte une surface rechargée lisse sensiblement continue (34) sur une partie de déchargement du plancher au voisinage de l'extrémité de déchargement, ce qui favorise le glissement des matières sur la surface dure lisse (34), laquelle est revêtue d'une couche d'alliage de rechargement. Une ou plusieurs surfaces arquées forment un pont de liaison entre les parois latérales (22, 36) et/ou la paroi avant et le plancher (20) dudit conteneur, d'où un accrochement de matières réduit.
