The invention concerns a metal laminate comprising between two outer metal sheets an adhesive polymer layer, characterised in that the adhesive polymer layer comprises cross-linked polyethylene or a copolymer thereof, grafted with an unsaturated carboxylic acid an anhydride and/or an ester derivative thereof. The invention further concerns a process for the manufacture of such a metal laminate and the use of such metal laminates for the manufacture of automotive body parts.
La présente invention se rapporte à un stratifié métallique comportant une couche polymère adhésive entre deux feuilles métalliques externes, caractérisé en ce que la couche polymère adhésive comporte un polyéthylène réticulé ou son copolymère, greffé avec un acide carboxylique insaturé et/ou son dérivé. L'invention se rapporte également à un procédé de fabrication d'un tel stratifié métallique ainsi qu'à l'utilisation de stratifiés métalliques de ce type dans la fabrication de pièces de carrosserie automobile.
