By application of a method for recovering a digital data signal (D out) and a clock signal (Ck out) from a received data signal (D in) consisting of a number of successive bits, a clock signal is produced from the received data signal by means of a resonator circuit (5). The recovered data signal is produced by sampling the received data signal with the recovered clock signal. The received data signal and the recovered clock signal are phase locked to each other so that the received data signal is sampled approximately in the centre of every bit. By phase locking the two signals to each other immediately prior to the sampling, the effect of varying time delays to which the two signals have been subjected individually on their way through the circuit is neutralised, and every sampling may be performed precisely within the very short time during which the data signal is stable.

En appliquant un procédé de récupération d'un signal de données numériques (Dout) et d'un signal d'horloge (Ckout) à partir d'un signal de données reçu (Din) constitué d'un nombre de bits successifs, on produit un signal d'horloge à partir du signal de données reçu, au moyen d'un circuit résonateur (5). On produit le signal de données récupéré en échantillonnant le signal de données reçu avec le signal d'horloge récupéré. Le signal de données reçu et le signal d'horloge récupéré sont verrouillés ensemble en phase, de manière à ce que le signal de donnés reçu soit échantillonné approximativement au centre de chaque bit. En outre, en verrouillant ces deux signaux ensemble en phase immédiatement avant l'échantillonnage, on neutralise l'effet de différences de retard auquel ont été soumis individuellement les deux signaux sur leur trajet dans le circuit, chaque échantillonnage pouvant être effectué précisément durant ce laps de temps très bref où le signal de données est stable.
