The present invention concerns calibration of a group antenna sytem (11) with a number of radiation elements (X1, ..., XN) and a number of controllable transmitters (T1, ..., TN), in which the transmitters at the reception of an input signal transmit output signals for feeding the radiation elements. The calibration is done to be able to obtain a time varying antenna diagram at transmission and should be able to perform under operation without interrupting the normal operation of the group antenna system (11). The group antenna system comprises a control system for automatically correcting the control of the transmitters (T1, ..., TN) for error deviations thereof. The group antenna system (11) comprises means (37) for generating a sum signal corresponding to the sum of the output signals. The control system generates error signals, giving information about the error deviations, employing the sum signal, the input signal and the complex amplifications varying with time for the transmitters. The control of the transmitters (T1, ..., TN) is continuously corrected employing the error signals.
Cette invention a trait au calibrage d'un système d'antennes de groupe (11) pourvu d'un certain nombre d'éléments rayonnants (X1, ..., XN) et d'émetteurs pouvant être commandés (T1, ..., TN), ces émetteurs envoyant, à réception d'un signal d'entrée, des signaux de sortie afin d'alimenter les éléments rayonnants. Le calibrage est effectué dans le but d'obtenir un diagramme d'antenne à échelle de temps à l'émission ainsi que dans le but de permettre l'exécution d'une sous-opération sans que ne soit interrompu le fonctionnement normal du système d'antennes de groupe (11). Ce dernier comporte un dispositif de commande destiné à corriger automatiquement la commande des émetteurs (T1, ..., TN), s'agissant de écarts erronés de ceux-ci. Il comporte également des moyens (37) servant à produire un signal de somme correspondant à la somme des signaux de sortie. Le système d'antennes produit des signaux d'erreur, fournissant une information relative aux écarts erronés, en utilisant la signal de somme, le signal d'entrée et les amplifications complexes des émetteurs variant avec le temps. La commande des émetteurs (T1, ..., TN) est corrigée sans interruption au moyen des signaux d'erreur.
