A method and a device for collection of floating waste (16), including oil and oil-soiled objects, on a water surface (14) by means of a floating collection arrangement (2) containing at least one waste-receiving portion (8) and at least one collection receptacle (4). An inflow, which consists of the waste (16) and a directly underlying water layer (20), is conducted into the collection receptacle (4) via the receiving portion (8) and separates into an upper waste-containing layer (24) and a lower water layer (26) from which water is conducted out of the collection receptacle (4). The subject matter of the invention is that the inflow (16, 20) is conducted over a threshold (6) that is placed deeper than the water surface (14), and which is provided in the waste~ receiving portion (8). The water layer (20) acts like a lubricating sliding layer preventing sticky waste (16), for example oil, from adhering to the threshold (6). Such a lubricating sliding layer may also be provided by means of a forced water current (34) established between the threshold (6) and the waste (16) and its underlying water layer (20).
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif permettant de recueillir des déchets flottants (16), notamment de l'huile et des objets tâchés d'huile, à la surface de l'eau (14), au moyen d'un ensemble de collection flottant (2) contenant au moins une partie de réception des déchets (8) et au moins un réceptacle de collection (4). Un débit entrant qui consiste en déchets (16) et une couche d'eau directement sous-jacente (20) est amené dans le réceptacle de collection (4) par l'intermédiaire de la partie de réception (8) et se sépare en une couche supérieure contenant les déchets (24) et une couche inférieure d'eau (26) à partir de laquelle l'eau est amenée hors du réceptacle de collection (4). L'invention concerne plus spécifiquement le fait que le débit entrant (16, 20) est amené au-dessus d'un seuil (6) placé plus profondément dans la surface de l'eau (14), et situé dans la partie de réception des déchets (8). La couche d'eau (20) agit comme une couche lubrifiante glissante empêchant des déchets collants (16), par exemple de l'huile, d'adhérer au seuil (6). Une telle couche lubrifiante glissante peut également être obtenue au moyen d'un courant d'eau forcé (34) établi entre le seuil (6) et les déchets (16) et la couche d'eau sous-jacente (20).
