A method to deactivate a burglar proof system alarm element (1), the alarm element being adapted to be detected in an alternating magnetic field (2) in a scanning area (3) in the system, in that by means of a signal generator (4) provided in the alarm element it emits detectable signals (5) in said alternating field including a magnetization of a deactivator (4') thereby preventing the emission of said detectable signals. The method is especially characterized in that the deactivation of the alarm element (1) is achieved by means of a magnetizing impulse (11) directly in connection with a detection of the alarm element, the deactivation then being achieved by means of a magnetic field being essentially stronger than the magnetic field during the detection and with essentially the same direction. The invention is also related to a device for deactivation.

Procédé permettant de désactiver un élément alarme (1) faisant partie d'un système antivol. L'alarme est conçue pour être détectée dans un champ magnétique alternatif (2) d'une zone de balayage (3) du système, par le fait que, au moyen d'un générateur de signaux (4) intégré à l'élément alarme, celui-ci émet des signaux (5) pouvant être détectés dans ledit champ alternatif dans lequel un désactivateur (4') est magnétisé, ce qui empêche l'émission desdits signaux. Le procédé est essentiellement caractérisé par le fait que l'élément alarme (1) est désactivé par une impulsion magnétisante (11) directement reliée à une détection dudit élément. La désactivation est réalisée au moyen d'un champ magnétique qui est sensiblement plus puissant que le champ magnétique durant la détection et qui a sensiblement la même direction.
