A device (18) for transferring a tail of a cellulose based fibrous web (8) from a first unit to a second unit comprises a separating member (20) , which is adapted to form a space (95) between a first face (96) of the tail (92) and the first unit, a tail pick up pulley (30) which is adapted to be inserted in said space (95) between the first face (96) of the tail (92) and the first unit, the tail pick up pulley (30) further being adapted for moving the tail (92) into a cutting position, a cutting device being adapted for cutting the tail (92) at said cutting position, and a tail conveyor device being adapted for catching the tail cut at the cutting position, and for forwarding the cut tail (92) to the second unit.

L'invention concerne un dispositif (18) de transfert de la queue d'une bande (8) fibreuse à base de cellulose d'une première unité à une deuxième unité, ledit dispositif comportant un élément séparateur (20) prévu pour former un espace (95) entre une première face (96) de la queue (92) et la première unité, une poulie (30) de préhension de la queue prévue pour être insérée dans ledit espace (95) entre la première face (96) de la queue (92) et la première unité, la poulie (30) de préhension de la queue étant en outre prévue pour déplacer la queue (92) jusqu'à une position de coupe, un dispositif de coupe étant prévu pour couper la queue (92) au niveau de ladite position de coupe et un dispositif convoyeur de queue étant prévu pour saisir la queue coupée au niveau de ladite position de coupe et pour faire avancer la queue coupée jusqu'à la deuxième unité.
