A method and a system for optimization of parameters for a recovery boiler in a pulp mill is provided. The method is based on use of a first principle mathematical model to estimate parameters that are otherwise not measurable to accurately control the performance of the recovery boiler. In addition, a method to use estimated parameters of recovery boiler to control and stabilize the processes downstream of the recovery boiler is provided. A system to carry out the method for control and optimization of performance and operational parameters of recovery boiler is also provided.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un système d'optimisation des paramètres d'une chaudière de récupération dans une usine de pâte. Ce procédé se fonde sur l'utilisation d'un premier modèle mathématique de principe pour évaluer des paramètres qui ne pourraient pas être mesurés autrement afin de contrôler avec précision les performances de la chaudière de récupération. En outre, l'invention traite d'un procédé permettant d'utiliser les paramètres évalués de la chaudière de récupération pour contrôler et stabiliser les traitements en aval de ladite chaudière de récupération. L'invention a aussi pour objet un système permettant de mettre en uvre le procédé de contrôle et d'optimisation des performances et des paramètres fonctionnels de la chaudière de récupération.
