The method comprises cutting or drilling the ice from the deposit into units of a unit size suitable for immediate packing and for later distribution to and used by end consumers. While the units still are in the form of ice, they are packed in sealed containers suitable for distribution to and use by end consumers. The apparatus comprises conveyor line (1, 6). One conveyor line (1) for conveying (3, 4, 5) and a second conveyor line (6) with means for conveying containers (8a, 8b) for packing the ice unit portions.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant d'utiliser la glace des glaciers comme eau de boisson. Ce procédé consiste à couper ou à forer la glace, à partir de son site naturel, en unités de taille unique appropriées pour être immédiatement conditionnées, puis distribuées à des consommateurs, et utilisée par ceux-ci. Alors que les unités sont encore sous forme de glace, elles sont enfermées dans des récipients hermétiques appropriés pour la distribution à des consommateurs et son utilisation par ceux-ci. L'appareil comprend deux bandes transporteuses (1, 6), l'une d'elle (1) étant destinée au transport (3, 4, 5), et l'autre (6) étant pourvue de moyens permettant de transporter les récipients (8a, 8b) afin d'y conditionner les parties d'unités de glace.
