A method of and an arrangement for integrated telecommunication via a Cable TeleVision (CaTV) network (3-14) in a first or downstream direction from a head-end section (2) to subscriber sections (20) and in a second or upstream direction from the subscriber sections (20) to the first or head-end section (2). First transmission equipment (18, 19, 23) serve downstream and upstream communication in accordance with the Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications (DECT) standard. The first transmission equipment (18, 19, 23) comprises a plurality of radio access units arranged at distribution and/or district centers (11) of said CaTV network (3-14) operating at a low- end frequency sub-band of the CaTV network (3-14). Network Termination Units (20, 30, 43) are provided comprising DECT conversion means (39) for radio communication at the standard DECT frequency band.
Procédé et dispositif de télécommunications intégrées par l'intermédiaire d'un réseau de télévision par câble (CaTV) (3-14) dans une première direction ou direction aval depuis une tête (2) de réseau à des unités d'abonnés (20) et dans une seconde direction ou direction amont des unités d'abonnés (20) à la tête (2) de réseau. Un premier équipement de transmission (18, 19, 23) dessert la communication en amont et en aval selon la norme de télécommunications sans fil à rehaussement numérique (DETC). Le premier équipement de transmission comporte une pluralité d'unités d'accès radio placées dans des centres (11) de distribution et/ou de district du réseau CaTV (3-14) fonctionnant dans une sous-bande de fréquence de bas de plage du réseau CaTV (3-14). Des unités (20, 30, 43) de terminaison du réseau comprennent des dispositifs de conversion (39) pour la communication radio à la bande de fréquence DETC standard.
