The invention relates to tubular knitwear items complete with shoulder straps (20, 21), braces and various openings for legs or arms, manufactured without the usual cutting and sewing operations. Through the appropriate selection of needles, in accordance with the jaquard design and to the operating cycle of the knitting machine, the invention allows the separation and automatic programmed resumption of knitted courses for defined areas or zones, thereby obtaining at least a complete opening or brace, formed by at least a simple or double welt, or even multiple, edges, depending on circumstances. Lastly, the invention eliminates the current necessary cut and sew operations and the consequent, usual and costly fabric scrap.
L'invention concerne des articles de bonneterie tubulaires munis de bretelles (20, 21), d'attaches et de plusieurs ouvertures pour les jambes ou les bras, le procédé de fabrication de ces articles évitant les étapes habituelles de découpe et de couture. Cette invention permet notamment, grâce à une sélection d'aiguilles adaptée à la grille de jacquard destinée à être élaborée et au cycle de fonctionnement du métier à tricoter, la séparation et la reprise automatique programmée de rangées de mailles tricotées dans des aires ou zones définies. On obtient ainsi au moins une ouverture ou une attache, munie le cas échéant d'au moins un revers simple ou double ou de bords réguliers multiples. Enfin, cette invention permet notamment d'éliminer la production de chutes de tissu, généralement coûteuse, engendrée par les étapes de découpe et de couture.
