A method and an arrangement for providing keys for protecting communication between a terminal (300) and service points in a communication network. A basic key (Ik) is first established with a service control node (304) when the terminal has entered the network. An initial modified key (Ik1) is then created in both the service control node and the terminal, by applying a predetermined first function (f) to at least the basic key and an initial value of a key version parameter (v). The initial modified key is sent to a first service point (302), such that it can be used to protect communication between the terminal and the first service point. When the terminal switches to a second service point (306), the first service point and the terminal both create a second modified key (Ik2) by applying a predetermined second function (g) to the initial modified key, and the first service point sends the second modified key to the second service point.
La présente invention concerne un procédé et une disposition pour fournir des clés pour protéger des communications entre un terminal(300) et des points de service dans un réseau de communication. Une clé de base (Ik) est établie en premier avec un nAEud de commande de service (304) quand le terminal a pénétré le réseau. Une clé modifiée initiale (Ik1) est alors créée à la fois dans le nAEud de commande de service et le terminal en appliquant une première fonction prédéterminée (f) à au moins la clé de base et une valeur initiale d'un paramètre de version de clé (v). La clé modifiée initiale est envoyée à un premier point de service (302), de sorte qu'elle peut être utilisée pour protéger la communication entre le terminal et le premier point de service. Si le terminal commute sur un second point de service (306), le premier point de service et le terminal génèrent tous les deux une seconde clé modifiée (Ik2) en appliquant une seconde fonction prédéterminée (g) à la clé initiale modifiée et le premier point de service envoie la seconde clé modifiée au second point de service.
