The present invention relates to a method and a computer system and its components for providing spectacles adapted to a future wearer. The method comprises the steps of: inputting in a computer system a first set of data (F1) related to the wearer, comprising at least a prescription of the wearer, inputting in the computer system a second set of data (F2) related to a spectacle frame chosen by the wearer. The computer system is provided with processing means for outputting, on the basis of the first and second sets of data, at least one set of data (S1, S2,..., SN) characterizing a pair of ophthalmic lenses adapted to the wearer and the chosen frame.

L'invention concerne un procédé, ainsi qu'un système informatique et ses composants, permettant d'obtenir des lunettes convenant à un futur utilisateur. Le procédé selon l'invention comprend les étapes consistant à : entrer, dans un système informatique, un premier ensemble de données (F1) concernant le porteur de lunettes et comprenant au moins une ordonnance relative au porteur de lunettes; entrer, dans le système informatique, un second ensemble de données (F2) concernant la monture de lunettes choisie par le porteur de lunettes. Le système informatique selon l'invention comprend un moyen de traitement permettant de produire, en fonction du premier et du second ensembles de données, au moins un ensemble de données (S1, S2,..., SN) caractérisant une paire de verres ophtalmiques convenant au porteur de lunettes et à la monture choisie.
