A method and system for handling media at a communication entity, wherein the media is associated with a communication session that is capable of entering an active state and an inactive state. The method comprises determining when the communication session is in an inactive state, causing the media associated with the communication session to be stored when the communication session has entered an inactive state, and causing the stored media to be conveyed to a user of the communication entity upon determination that the communication session has re-entered an active state.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un système de gestion de contenus multimédia au niveau d'une entité de communication, caractérisés en ce que les contenus multimédias sont associés à une session de communication susceptible d'entrer dans un état actif et dans un état inactif. Le procédé comporte les étapes consistant à déterminer le moment où une session de communication se trouve dans un état inactif, à provoquer la mémorisation des contenus multimédia associés à la session de communication lorsque la session de communication est entrée dans un état inactif et à provoquer l'acheminement des contenus multimédia mémorisés vers un utilisateur de l'entité de communication, après avoir déterminé que la session de communication est revenue dans un état actif.
