ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Methods and systems for signalling between a mobile station and a network for requesting supplementary services are disclosed. The network implicitly assumes that signals from a mobile station relate to either a held or active call or that a second action is required after the requested action is performed so that the complexity of the mobile unit can be reduced.
