A method for securing remote access to private networks includes the step of intercepting from a data link layer a packet in a first plurality of packets destined for a first system on a private network. A packet in a second plurality of packets transmitted from a second system on the private network destined for a system on a second network is intercepted from the data link layer. A network address translation is performed on at least one intercepted packet and the at least one intercepted packet is transmitted to a destination, responsive to an application of a policy to the intercepted packet. An intercepted packet may be transmitted to a client application, responsive to a filtering table or modified routing table, for transmission to a destination system, responsive to an application of a policy. The client application may reside on a gateway computing device, on a client computing device, or on a peripheral device.
L'invention porte sur un procédé de sécurisation d'accès à distance à des réseaux privés comprenant une étape consistant à intercepter, à partir d'une couche liaison de données, un paquet parmi une première pluralité de paquets destiné à un premier système d'un réseau privé. Un paquet pris dans une seconde pluralité de paquets transmis à partir d'un second système du réseau privé destiné à un système d'un second réseau est intercepté à partir de la couche liaison de données. Une traduction d'adresse de réseau est effectuée sur au moins un paquet intercepté et au moins ce paquet intercepté est transmis à une destination, en réponse à l'application d'une politique sur le paquet intercepté. Un paquet intercepté peut être transmis à une application client, en réponse à une table de filtrage ou une table de routage modifiée, en vue de la transmission à un système de destination, en réponse à l'application d'une politique. L'application client peut être contenue dans un dispositif de calcul passerelle, dans un dispositif de calcul client, ou dans un dispositif périphérique.
