A transmitter (100) that includes an amplifying element (107), an antenna (109), a gain stage (104, 105), and a closed loop feedback may compensate for varying antenna loads without an isolator. This may be accomplished by determining the effects of the varying loading on overall loop gain. Knowing the effects, the transmitter adjusts the gain of the gain stage to maintain a constant overall loop gain, thus eliminating the need for an isolator.

Un émetteur (100) comprenant un élément amplificateur (107), une antenne (109), un étage de gain (104, 105) ainsi qu'une rétroaction en boucle fermée, peut compenser les charges variables d'une antenne sans isolateur. Ceci peut s'obtenir en déterminant les effets d'une charge variable sur le gain de boucle global. Le fait de connaître ces effets permet à l'émetteur de régler le gain de l'étage de gain afin de maintenir un gain de boucle global constant, sans isolateur.
