ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A method of thermal insulation of crowns and other industrial furnace parts characterized by the fact that on the surfaces subject to insulation a reinforcing lattice is built consisting of sectors which are filled by refrac- tory insulation material. An adhesive protection layer is then applied over them. The refractory insulation material and the protection adhesive layer harden under the effect of the heat radiated from the furnace. And a thermal insulation thus obtained.
