A method for transaction authorization with the use of a mobile phone, comprising the steps of receiving (102, 202) from the mobile phone user (UR), by the communication server (CS) a voice call establishment request, to establish a voice connection to a telephone number which identifies a transaction; authorize the transaction by verifying (112, 206) the credentials of the user (UR); accepting (106, 214) or rejecting (108, 216) the voice call depending on fact whether the transaction authorisation is to be carried out voice based or USSD based; sending a request (116, 220) to the user (UR) to enter necessary transaction parameters; entering (118, 222) the requested transaction parameters; verifying (120, 224), by the authorization system (AS), the validity of the entered parameter; determining (122, 226) whether the user (UR) has entered all necessary transaction parameters, including user's authorization to fund the transaction and, preferably, a password authorizing the transaction; accept the transaction funding by the transaction party responsible for it(124, 228), and, if the amount has been accepted, sending a message with instruction to reserve sufficient funds (126, 230) in the transaction funding party account to settle the transaction; determining (128, 232) whether the authorization system (AS) has been provided with all necessary the transaction parameters; storing (130, 234) the transaction for further processing or forwarding it (132, 236) for settlement.
L'invention concerne un procédé d'autorisation d'une transaction au moyen d'un téléphone mobile. Le procédé consiste à: recevoir (102, 202) d'un utilisateur (UR), par un serveur de communication (CS), une demande d'établissement de communication vocale avec un numéro de téléphone qui identifie une transaction; autoriser la transaction en vérifiant (112, 206) la preuve d'identité de l'utilisateur (UR); accepter (106, 214) ou rejeter (108, 216) la communication vocale selon que l'autorisation de transaction doit être acheminée vocalement ou par USSD; envoyer à l'utilisateur (UR) une requête lui demandant d'entrer des paramètres de transaction nécessaires; entrer (118, 222) les paramètres de transaction demandés; vérifier (120, 224), au moyen du système d'autorisation (AS), la validité des paramètres entrés; déterminer (122, 226) si l'utilisateur (UR) a entré tous les paramètres de transaction nécessaires, y compris son autorisation de financer la transaction et, de préférence, un mot de passe autorisant la transaction; accepter le financement de la transaction par la partie qui en a la charge (124, 228), et, si le montant est accepté, envoyer un message avec instruction de mobiliser des fonds suffisants (126, 230) dans le compte de la partie chargée de financer la transaction en vue de conclure cette dernière; déterminer (128, 232) si le système d'autorisation (AS) a reçu tous les paramètres de transaction nécessaires; enregistrer (130, 234) la transaction pour traitement ultérieur ou la transmettre (132, 236) pour règlement.
