The present invention relates to a method of isolating a target compound from other components of a liquid, which method comprises at least two chromatographic steps, in any sequence of order, wherein the mobile phase is contacted with an affinity chromatography matrix and/or an ion-exchange chromatography matrix and/or a hydrophobic interaction chromatography matrix, wherein the contacting with at least one of the matrices takes place in the presence of at least one non-ionic polyether; and obtaining the target compound(s) in a separate fraction from the last chromatographic step. In the most preferred embodiment, the non-ionic polyether is poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG).

L'invention concerne un procédé qui permet d'isoler un composé cible des autres composants d'un liquide, lequel procédé comprend au moins deux étapes chromatographiques, dans n'importe quel ordre séquentiel, et s'effectue de la manière suivante : on met la phase mobile en contact avec une matrice de chromatographie d'affinité et/ou une matrice de chromatographie par échange d'ions et/ou une matrice de chromatographie par interaction hydrophobe, la mise en contact avec l'une des matrices précitées s'effectuant en présence d'au moins un polyéther non ionique ; et l'on obtient le ou les composés cibles dans une fraction séparée résultant de la dernière étape chromatographique. Dans le mode de réalisation préféré, le polyéther non ionique est un poly(éthylène glycol) (PEG).
