The present invention relates to a method for the formation of colony varieties of crop plants and production of their seeds. Based on their phenotypes, different single-genotype varieties with identical or uniform maturity and plant height will be matched to form a colony variety for a specific breeding aim. Each of the single-genotype varieties in a colony variety will be multiplied separately and their seeds will be mixed in a specific ratio according to the breeding aim. The colony varieties generated in such a method are characterized by consistency, stability and specificity in their phenotype.
La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de former des variétés de colonies de plantes cultivées et de produire leurs graines. Différentes variétés d'un seul génotype présentant des maturités et des hauteurs de plante identiques et uniformes sont assorties, en fonction de leurs phénotypes, pour former une variété de colonies dans un but spécifique de reproduction. Chacune des variétés d'un seul génotype dans une variété de colonie est multipliée séparément et leurs graines sont mélangées dans une proportion spécifique en fonction du but de reproduction. Les variétés de colonie générées par un tel procédé sont caractérisées par la consistance, la stabilité et la spécificité de leur phénotype.
