The invention relates to a process for the bleaching of an aqueous lignocellulosic pulp under acidic conditions in the bleaching plant of a pulp mill. The bleached pulp is used for the production of paper or pulp. The selectivity of the bleaching agent towards primary reactions with lignin is enhanced by the use of a carbon dioxide providing medium in the pulp.

L'invention porte sur un procédé de blanchiment d'une pâte lignocellulosique aqueuse dans des conditions acides, ce procédé étant réalisé dans une installation de blanchiment d'une usine de pâte à papier. La pâte blanchie est utilisée pour produire du papier ou de la pâte. Pour améliorer la sélectivité de l'agent de blanchiment par rapport à des réactions primaires avec la lignine, on utilise un milieu de la pâte générant un dioxyde de carbone.
