A method for depleting viral and molecular pathogens in a biological material containing one or several biological substances to be recovered is disclosed, wherein the biological material is admixed with an organic solvent, the solvent-admixed biological material is contacted with an ion exchanger, wherein the pathogens are adsorbed on the ion exchanger material, and at least one of the biological substances to be recovered does not interact or interacts only slightly with the ion exchanger, and the ion exchanger with the pathogens adsorbed thereon is sesparated from the biological material, a virus-depleted preparation of the biological substance being recovered.
Procédé permettant de réduire la concentration d'agents pathogènes viraux et moléculaires dans un matière biologique qui contient une ou plusieurs substances biologiques à extraire. Selon ledit procédé, la matière biologique est mélangée avec un solvant organique, la matière biologique mélangée avec le solvant est mise en contact avec un échangeur d'ions, les agents pathogènes sont adsorbés par la substance échangeuse d'ions, au moins une des substances biologiques à extraire ne présentant aucune interaction avec l'échangeur d'ions, ou présentant seulement une interaction minime, et l'échangeur d'ions porteur des agents pathogènes est séparé de la matière biologique, ce qui permet d'obtenir une préparation appauvrie en virus de la substance biologique.
