A method for extracting a clear frame from an image frame containing at least one or more subjects disposed before a backing, whose color and luminance vary smoothly from one backing area to another. The method replaces a subject's pixel signal levels with backing pixel signal levels. The method selects a known backing pixel and compares the RGB signal levels of an adjacent pixel with the RGB signal levels of the known backing pixel and identifies the adjacent pixel as a backing pixel when its RGB signal levels are each within an assigned tolerance of the RGB signal levels of the known backing pixel. This comparison is performed on all known backing pixels with unidentified adjacent pixels until all pixels in the image frame have been examined and all backing pixels identified. The method then replaces the RGB signal levels of the at least one subject's pixels with the RGB signal levels of backing pixels located at opposite edges of said at least one subjects by at least one of interpolation and or extrapolation across the at least one subject thereby removing said at least one subject to leave a clear frame.
L'invention concerne un procédé d'extraction d'une trame claire à partir d'une trame d'image contenant au moins un ou plusieurs sujets disposés avant un renfort, dont la couleur et la luminance varient uniformément d'une zone de renfort à une autre. Le procédé remplace des niveaux de signal de pixel d'un sujet par des niveaux de signal de pixel de renfort. Le procédé sélectionne un pixel de renfort connu et compare les niveaux de signal RVB d'un pixel adjacent aux niveaux de signal RVB du pixel de renfort connu et identifie le pixel adjacent comme un pixel de renfort lorsque ses niveaux de signal RVB sont chacun dans une tolérance attribuée des niveaux de signal RVB du pixel de renfort connu. Cette comparaison est effectuée sur tous les pixels de renfort connus avec les pixels adjacents non identifiés jusqu'à ce que tous les pixels dans la trame d'image aient été examinés et que tous les pixels de renfort aient été identifiés. Le procédé remplace alors les niveaux de signal RVB des pixels du au moins un sujet par les niveaux de signal RVB de pixels de renfort situés au niveau de bords opposés dudit au moins un sujet par au moins l'une parmi une interpolation et/ou une extrapolation à travers le au moins un sujet éliminant ainsi ledit au moins un sujet pour laisser une trame claire.
