Charging criteria in a mobile telephone network may be improved by choosing one cell or a group of several cells of the mobile telephone network as a group of special cells. The cells of the group may be located in the areas of different MSC's. When a call is being established, a service control point SCP located in an intelligent network analyses whether the location cell of a calling subscriber and that of a called subscriber belong to the group of special cells. Subscriber numbers of the subscribers may also be taken into account. The service control point SCP then applies a special charging criterion determined for the group. In a case where the location cell of the calling subscriber and that of the called subscriber are located in separate MSC areas (MSC1/SSP1, MSC2/SSP2), the information on the location cell of the called subscriber is transmitted to the service control point (SCP1) connected to the mobile switching centre (MSC1/SSP1) of the calling subscriber either directly or in a message in accordance with signalling used between MSC's.
L'invention concerne un procédé qui permet d'améliorer les critères de taxation dans un réseau téléphonique mobile, et qui consiste à choisir une cellule ou un groupe de cellules du réseau téléphonique mobile comme groupe de cellules spéciales. Les cellules du groupe peuvent se trouver dans les zones relevant de plusieurs centres de commutation mobiles. Lorsqu'une communication est établie, un point de contrôle du service (SCP) situé dans un réseau intelligent détermine si la cellule d'emplacement d'un abonné appelant et la cellule d'emplacement d'un abonné appelé appartiennent au groupe des cellules spéciales. On peut également tenir compte des numéros d'abonné. Le point de contrôle du service (SCP) applique ensuite un critère de taxation spécialement déterminé pour le groupe. Lorsque la position de la cellule de l'abonné appelant et la position de la cellule de l'abonné appelé se trouve dans différentes zones de centre de commutation mobile (MSC1/SSP1, MSC2/SSP2), l'information relative à la cellule de l'abonné appelé est transmise au point de contrôle du service (SCP1) relié au centre de commutation mobile (MSC1/SSP1) de l'abonné appelant, soit directement soit par un message conforme à la signalisation utilisée entre les centres de commutation mobile.
