A method for manufacturing a post insulator comprises the steps of introducing a core (7) into a tube (1) of an insulating stiff material while leaving a small circumferential space separating the core and the inner walls of the tube. Adhesive is then introduced under an overpressure into the interior of the tube and is cured while maintaining an overpressure in the interior of the tube.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un isolateur de poteau qui comprend les étapes consistant à introduire un noyau (7) dans un tube (1) constitué d'un matériau rigide isolant tout en laissant un petit espace circonférentiel séparant le noyau et les parois intérieures du tube. Un adhésif est ensuite introduit sous surpression à l'intérieur du tube et il est cuit tout en maintenant une surpression à l'intérieur du tube. (Figure 1)
