Polyethylene applied to high-density paper where the surface of the paper is modified in order to have a surface energy as close as possible to polyethylene and thereby achieve properties as barrier material for packaging of food. The good barrier property is a result of crystallisation of polyethylene on the paper's surface.
Selon la présente invention, du polyéthylène est appliqué sur un papier haute densité dont la surface est modifiée de manière à présenter une énergie superficielle aussi proche que possible de celle du polyéthylène et de manière à produire des caractéristiques d'une matière à effet barrière pour l'emballage d'aliments. La cristallisation du polyéthylène sur la surface du papier permet d'obtenir une bonne caractéristique d'effet barrière.
