The present invention provides a method of minimizing the uterotrophic effect of non-steroidal triphenylethylene, antiestrogenic compounds, when such compounds are administered for the treatment or prevention of breast carcinoma, via the coadministration of certain antiestrogenic naphthyl compounds. Pharmaceutical compositions are also provided.
