In a method for planting fish eggs in watercourses or seas a planting tube is pressed with its point (15) down into the bottom material. An intermediate part of the tube, which part is formed as a container (13) between an upper valve (12) and a lower valve (14), is filled with water. A part (11) of the tube, located above the upper valve (12), is filled with fish eggs. By opening the upper valve (12) the fish eggs are mixed with the water in the container (13). When the lower valve (14) is opened the fish eggs and the water flow out through at least one orifice hole (22) in the point (15). In the point the planting tube has a plurality of orifice holes (22) which ale directed outwards from the point in different directions.
