The present invention relates to a method for producing a wood wool construction element. This method comprises the steps of dispersing at least a part of a mixture of wood wool and a hydraulic binder in a mould so as to obtain a layer of the mixture with a height that is less than the height of side walls of said mould. Said mixture is at least partially hardened after which a subsequent layer of mixture is provided. The thickness of a construction element may well exceed 30 cm, for example 40 cm, 50 cm or even 60 cm. Also, an element obtained with such method is described, as well as a production facility.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication dun élément de construction en laine de bois. Ce procédé comprend les étapes consistant à disperser au moins une partie dun mélange de laine de bois et dun liant aqueux dans un moule de façon à obtenir une couche du mélange présentant une hauteur inférieure à la hauteur de parois latérales dudit moule. Ledit mélange est au moins partiellement durci, après quoi une nouvelle couche du mélange est utilisée. Lépaisseur dun élément de construction peut bien dépasser 30 cm, par exemple 40 ou 50 cm, voire 60 cm. De même, linvention concerne un élément obtenu avec un tel procédé ainsi quune installation de fabrication.
