A method for producing hydrogen and/or other gases from steel plant wastes and waste heat is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of providing molten waste from steel plant like molten slag in a reactor. The molten slag is contacted with water and/or steam in the presence of a reducing agent to form a stream of hydrogen and/or other gases. The hydrogen and/or other gases can then be extracted from the stream of gases from the reactor.
L~invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d~hydrogène et/ou d~autres gaz à partir de déchets d~aciérie et de chaleur de récupération. Le procédé comprend une étape d~introduction de déchets fondus d~aciérie, tels que des scories fondues, dans un réacteur. Les scories fondues sont mises en contact avec de l~eau et/ou de la vapeur en présence d~un agent réducteur, afin de former un flux d~hydrogène et/ou d~autres gaz. L~hydrogène et/ou les autres gaz peuvent ensuite être extraits du flux de gaz à partir du réacteur.
