The present invention describes a method for recovery of high purity carbon dioxide, which is substantially free of nitrogen oxides. This high purity carbon dioxide is obtained by introducing into the method a step in which carbon dioxide absorbed in an absorbing agent is flashed. The present invention also discloses a plant for recovery of said high purity carbon dioxide comprising an absorption column, a flash column, a stripper column, and a down stream purification unit comprising a washing column, a dehydrator, a condenser and a distillation unit.
La présente invention porte sur un procédé de récupération de dioxyde de carbone à pureté élevée et sensiblement exempt d'oxydes d'azote. Ledit dioxyde de carbone à pureté élevée est obtenu par introduction dans le procédé d'une étape dans laquelle du dioxyde de carbone absorbé par un agent absorbant est soumis à une distillation éclair. La présente invention porte également sur une installation de récupération dudit dioxyde de carbone à pureté élevée, laquelle installation comporte une colonne d'absorption, une colonne éclair, une colonne de strippage et une unité de purification en aval comprenant une colonne de lavage, un déshydratateur, un condenseur et une unité de distillation.
