The invention pertains to a method for eluting a radionuclide-label or a radionuclide-labeled compound using a solid phase extraction resin, to a device for performing such a method, and to a computer program for controlling such a device. Specifically, the method according to the invention enables the automated synthesis of a radionuclide-labeled compound using anion exchange resin or a reversed phase resin, and comprises the step of removing or eluting a radionuclide-label (f luorine-18, etc.) that is bound to an anion exchange resin, or a radionuclide-labeled compound that is bound to a reversed phase resin, by performing a' 'pulsed' ' elution with an eluent.
