The invention relates to a method for the assessment of the allergenicity or the toxicity of a test compound and for the screening of at least two compounds simultaneously. The invention also relates to a method of characterising a cell type for the present invention, as well as an assay kit for the high through-put screening of a compound. By contacting a cell culture of at least one cell type of animal origin with the test compound and measuring cytokine responses, the allergenicity of the test compound can be assessed.
L'invention concerne un procédé servant à déterminer l'allergénicité ou la toxicité d'un composé d'essai, et à cribler simultanément au moins deux composés. L'invention concerne également un procédé de caractérisation d'un type de cellule, de même qu'une trousse de dosage destinée au criblage, à un rendement élevé, d'un composé. La mise en contact d'une culture de cellules avec au moins un type de cellule d'origine animale, au moyen de composé d'essai, et la mesure des réponses des cytokines permettent de déterminer l'allergénicité du composé d'essai.
