A method for the manufacture of filter cigarettes which in longitudinal direction comprise at least two filter portions of different material with the following method steps: - endless lines are generated of at least a first and second material and are provided with a wrap - first and second sections are cut from the endless lines of different filter material, the sections having a predetermined length - the sections are alternatively filed with a predetermined spacing from each other and are continuously wrapped in order to achieve a further endless line the further endless line is divided into double filter sections having end portions and a center portion, the center portion being formed of a first filter section of a first material and the end portions are formed by the half of the section of the second filter material - the double filter sections are located between aligned tobacco rods and connected thereto by an end wrap - the filter sections are cut in the center.
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de cigarettes à filtre (10) présentant, dans le sens longitudinal, au moins deux sections de filtre (20, 22) en matériaux différents. Ledit procédé consiste à produire des barres sans fin à partir de chaque matériau de filtre, composées d'un premier et d'un deuxième matériau de filtre et d'une enveloppe ; à produire, à partir des barres sans fin, une première et une deuxième section (30, 32) en matériaux de filtre différents, de longueurs prédéfinies ; à mettre les sections en rangée de façon alternée, avec un écart prédéfini (34), et à gainer lesdites sections en continu de manière à former une autre barre sans fin ; à diviser ladite barre sans fin en sections de filtre double (36) dont les extrémités sont composées respectivement d'une première ou d'une deuxième section de demi-longueur et dont la zone centrale est composée d'une première section ou d'une deuxième section complète ; à disposer les sections de filtre double entre respectivement deux bâtons de tabac et à les relier au bâton de tabac correspondant au moyen d'une enveloppe finale ; et, à séparer les sections de filtre double en leur milieu.
