The invention provides a method of agglomeration (10) which has the steps of mixing a feedstock (12) of small particles which have an average particle size of 3mm or less with a binder (14) which is in the form of a polyvinyl alcohol in the form of an aqueous polyvinyl alcohol solution in a first blender (16) to form a binder mixture (18), reacting a gelling agent (20) with the feedstock and the binder and processing the binder mixture to deliver an agglomerate (22).
L'invention concerne un procédé d'agglomération (10), ledit procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à mélanger une matière première (12) constituée de petites particules ayant une taille moyenne de particule inférieure ou égale à 3 mm avec un liant (14) alcool polyvinylique sous forme d'une solution aqueuse d'alcool polyvinylique dans un premier mélangeur (16) afin de former un mélange liant (18), à faire réagir un gélifiant (20) avec la matière première et le liant et à traiter le mélange liant pour obtenir un agglomérat (22).
