The present invention relates to a method of and an apparatus for protecting a heat exchanger against stresses caused by boiling of heat exchange medium without external energy, and a steam boiler provided with an apparatus for protecting a heat exchanger. Said apparatus is preferably used in situations in which heat is recovered from the flue gas flow of thermal power boilers in conditions, where there is a risk of boiling of the water used as heat exchange medium. A protection circuit of a heat exchanger in accordance with the present invention comprises an expansion vessel (52), which in case of boiling, provides natural circulation of water, for cooling a heat exchanger (36) without external energy or control.
La présente invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif permettant de protéger un échangeur de chaleur contre des effets provoqués par l'ébullition du véhicule d'échange thermique sans énergie extérieure, ainsi qu'une chaudière à vapeur munie d'un tel dispositif de protection. On utiliser ledit dispositif de préférence dans des cas où la chaleur est récupérée du gaz de carneau de chaudières thermiques, lorsqu'il a un risque d'ébullition de l'eau utilisée comme vecteur d'échange thermique. Selon la présente invention, un circuit de protection de l'échangeur de chaleur comprend un vase d'expansion (52) qui, en cas d'ébullition assure une circulation naturelle d'eau qui refroidit un échangeur de chaleur (36) sans énergie ou commande extérieures.
