A method of milking an animal having at least two teats. The method comprises a stimulation phase in which the teats of the animal are stimulated and a milking phase in which the animal is milked. The method comprises the steps of applying a stimulation phase and a milking phase to one of the teats of the animal and applying substantially only a milking phase to at least one of the other teats of the animal. The method further comprises a determination phase in which the teat with the shortest period of time in which the teat is milked out is determined, the stimulation phase and the milking phase being applied to the animal's teat with the shortest period of time, and the milking phase being applied substantially only to at least one of the other teats of the animal.
La présente invention vise un procédé pour traire un animal ayant au moins deux trayons. Le procédé ci-décrit met en jeu une phase de stimulation lors de laquelle les trayons de l~animal sont stimulés et une phase de traite lors de laquelle l~animal est trait. Le procédé met en jeu les étapes consistant à appliquer une phase de stimulation et une phase de traite à un des trayons de l~animal et à n~appliquer sensiblement qu~une phase de traite à au moins un des autres trayons de l~animal. Le procédé met également en jeu une phase de détermination consistant à déterminer quel trayon est trait pendant la période la plus courte, la phase de stimulation et la phase de traite étant appliquées au trayon de l~animal correspondant à la période la plus courte, et la phase de traite n~étant appliquée sensiblement qu~à au moins un des autres trayons de l~animal.
