The present invention relates to a method of applying strips to windscreen glass and headlamp glass that are kept clean with the aid of a wiper blade that sweeps over the glass. The method is characterized by affixing adhesive tape to the glass such as to expose in the location of the strip a glass surface whose width and length corresponds to the width and length of the strip or strips to be provided. A glue having properties similar to the properties of the glass is applied to the exposed part or parts and a scraper- like device that slides over the adhesive tape is moved over the glue in the exposed part or parts and the glue is permitted to harden when the scraper- like device has passed over the aforesaid part or parts or as said device passes over said part or parts.
L'invention concerne un procédé destiné à appliquer des bandes sur la vitre du pare-brise et des phares qui sont maintenus propres à l'aide d'un balai d'essuie-glace qui balaye la vitre. Selon ce procédé, on applique une bande adhésive sur la vitre afin de pouvoir exposer, dans la zone de la bande, une surface vitrée dont la largueur et la longueur correspondent à la largeur et à la longueur de la ou des bandes destinées à être appliquées. Ensuite, on applique une colle aux propriétés similaires à celles du verre sur la ou les partie(s) exposée(s) puis un dispositif de type racloir qui glisse sur la bande adhésive, est déplacé sur la colle dans la partie exposée. Enfin la colle peut durcir lorsque le dispositif de type racloir est passé ou passe sur la ou les partie(s) susmentionnée(s).
