The present invention relates to a method of controlling the variation in content of minerals that float naturally in the feed of a concentration plant flotation circuit processing valuable minerals, such as minerals containing precious metals, copper-, nickel- and zinc-bearing minerals. After grinding, rough flotation is performed on minerals that float naturally, such as talc, into what is termed rough talc concentrate, which is then stored. The rough talc concentrate is fed into the valuable minerals flotation circuit as a pre- defined feed, and as a result the control of the flotation circuit is improved and reagent costs are substantially reduced.
L'invention concerne un procédé de réglage de la variation du contenu en minéraux flottant naturellement dans l'alimentation d'un circuit de flottation d'une installation de concentration de traitement de minéraux précieux, tels que les minéraux contenant des métaux précieux et les minéraux contenant du cuivre, du nickel et du zinc. Suite au broyage, une flottation dégrossie est effectuée sur les minéraux flottant naturellement, par exemple le talc, afin d'obtenir un concentré de talc dégrossi, qui est alors stocké. Le concentré de talc dégrossi est injecté dans le circuit de flottation de minéraux précieux formant une matière d'alimentation prédéfinie, permettant ainsi d'améliorer le réglage du circuit de flottation et de réduire sensiblement les coûts des réactifs.
