The invention relates to a method of determining parameters of formations through which a borehole passes, on the basis of a resistivity log (20) recorded in said borehole by means of a measuring and recording tool, the method comprising the steps consisting in determining said formation parameters by a parameter inversion method so as to obtain a model of the formations; calculating the response of said tool to said model; using a comparison criterion for comparing said calculated response with said recorded log; and performing at least one new iteration if said comparison criterion is not satisfied; the method being characterized by the fact that the invention is performed by a quasi-Newton method implemented on pseudo-parameters that are homogeneous and that are determined from said formation parameters.
L'invention concerne un procédé qui permet de déterminer des paramètres de formations traversées d'un trou de forage, sur la base d'une diagraphie de résistivité (20) enregistrée dans le trou de forage au moyen d'un instrument de mesure et d'enregistrement. Le procédé consiste à déterminer ces paramètres de formations par une méthode d'inversion de paramètres afin d'obtenir un modèle des formations. Le procédé consiste ensuite à calculer la réponse dudit instrument audit modèle; à mettre en oeuvre un critère de comparaison pour comparer la réponse calculée avec la diagraphie enregistrée; et à accomplir au moins une nouvelle itération lorsque ce critère de comparaison n'est pas rempli. Le procédé se caractérise en ce qu'il est réalisé suivant une méthode quasi-newtonienne mise en oeuvre sur la base de pseudo-paramètres homogènes qui sont déterminés à partir de ces paramètres de formations.
