A method of identifying a patient as prodromal to a disease associated with amyloid deposition by imaging techniques is provided. In addition, a method of identifying amyloid deposition diseases in patients who present with a dementing disorder of questionable etiology by imaging techniques is provided. The methods discloses substances which are used for imaging and generating data which can be used to determine progress of an asymptomatic patient to a disease associated with amyloid deposition. or to identify amyloid deposition diseases in patients who present with a dementing disorder of questionable etiology.
Ce procédé permet d'identifier un patient comme prodromique à une maladie associée à un dépôt amyloïde, à l'aide de techniques d'imagerie. De plus, est également présenté un procédé pour identifier les maladies de dépôt amyloïde chez des patients qui présentent des troubles de la démence d'étiologie contestable, par techniques d'imagerie. Le procédé dévoile des substances qui sont utilisées pour l'imagerie et la génération de données pouvant être utilisées pour déterminer la progression d'un patient asymptomatique ayant une maladie associée au dépôt amyloïde ou pour identifier des maladies par dépôt amyloïde chez des patients qui présentent des troubles de la démence d'étiologie contestable.
