Compositions containing thiamine triphosphate and their applications in underphosphorylation pathologies and in a method of phosphorylation, which entails contacting procaryotic or eucaryotic cells with thiamine triphosphate (TTP) to thereby transfer a phosphate group from the TTP to a phosphate acceptor group of the cells.
