A plurality of barrels (4) with small parts (2) are rotatably mounted in an e- coating line including a coating section (7) and a curing section (8). After coating of the parts (2) within the coating section (7), the barrels (4) are moved directly through the curing section (8). In both the coating section (7) and the curing section (8), the barrels (4) are rotated to create a complete coating of each part (2) and to subsequently cure the coating within the same barrel (4).
