A method of handling liquid non-ferrous metals in which the liquid metal is treated while coming into contact with a solid refractory material. The invention is characterised in that the solid material is Ti3SiC2. According to one preferred embodiment, the liquid material is aluminium or aluminium alloys.
L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement de métaux non ferreux liquides, dans lequel le métal liquide est traité pendant qu'il entre en contact avec une matière réfractaire solide. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que la matière solide est Ti¿3?SiC¿2?. Selon un mode de réalisation préféré, la matière liquide est de l'aluminium ou des alliages d'aluminium.
